Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research Celebrates “Charak Drishti” on the Occasion of Maharishi Charak Jayanti – 2025

The Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), Jammu, joyfully celebrated “Charaka Drishti” on the auspicious occasion of Maharishi Charak Jayanti on 28th and 29th July 2025.
The two-day celebration featured a vibrant mix of academic and cultural events, including, Shloka Recitation, Clay Modeling, Essay Writing & E-Poster Presentations. These events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all professional years, showcasing their creativity, intellect, and reverence for Ayurvedic heritage. A key highlight of the event was the felicitation of renowned Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Padam Dev Raina, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Ayurveda.

The event was meticulously organized by the Department of Samhita and Siddhant, under the leadership of Dr. Venandana – Associate Professor, Dr. Lakshmi Sameer – Assistant Professor, Shri Tilak Raj Sharma – Assistant Professor.
