JIAR Observes World Hepatitis Day

This year the theme was “Lets break it down ”. This day is observed every year on 28th of July to raise global awareness about Hepatitis. On this occasion, various power point presentations and E poster presentations were given by Second year Students to emphasize the need for immediate steps to remove the financial, social, and systemic obstacles such as stigma that hinder progress toward eliminating hepatitis and preventing liver cancer.
The event was organized by Dr Punam Kumari Assistant Professor, Dept of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, JIAR.
The event is a reminder that we must act now to expand access, integrate care, and end hepatitis as a public health problem by 2030.
