Jammu Institute of Ayurvedic & Research Hospital is a 140 bed multi specialty hospital providing traditional Ayurveda treatment to all sections of society. In OPD more than 200 patients are treated everyday. IPD facility is also available and round the clock Specialist doctors and Paramedical staff is available to take care of the patients in IPD. The hospital has commenced Daksha, Ayurvedic Paramedical Course to impart quality training to individuals in all sections connected with the treatment is padachatustaya (quadripoid of treatment). The physician (Bhishak), medicine (Dravya), attendant (Upasthata) and the patient (rogi) are the four legs of treatment, physician being the most important among the four. These factors when having all the required qualities contribute greatly to the success of the treatment.

The aim of Daksha are two fold to provide well trained therapists, nurses and pharmacists to the Ayurvedic health care sector and to create more job opportunities to individuals.
